Something that really excites me is using social design to bring people together. My project is an exploration of how I can help people rediscover the art of properly listening to music again. This resulted in the formation of the Lunch N’ Listen Music Club. The concept is incredibly simple, we get together to chat about music and eat food. Yum! Running this music club is hugely experimental and each week it changes. I am always problem solving to optimise conversation and connection between people through the music. For example, the effect of the table layout on conversation or how much I let people have an input on design. What’s fascinating is how this project evolves as it involves others and I like that element of having to respond and adapt.
