YOUR FAVES WEEK - 28 MARCH

This week was geared around engagement, engagement, engagement! I created an instagram account specifically for the lunch n’ listen so people following it know exactly what they were in for so they were more likely to tune in. This also meant I upped the promotion and interaction before the event too, to make it more likely people would tune into the live because they invested time into it before.

I have found that going online needs persistence. Such as, instagram polls on the theme or choosing designs. The theme ‘your faves’ was structured by getting people to send me their favourite songs and a reason why so I could play them on the live. This meant I could generate an image to put on while the song was playing with their quote and the song name to help people see the song from a new perspective and start discussion. Alongside this I was also much more active in the comments this week to try and boost discussion which really paid off. There were lots of people chatting and even with people they didn't know. Once again instagram glitched quite a lot but people still came back on in the same numbers so it wasn’t as much of a hassle although people commented that that was something to try and work on.
